Is there a brand of ammo that you prefer? Why? Do you think certain brands shoot better out of different guns?

I just bought a box of 50 Remington 9mm 115 grain bullets. I guess I will need to shoot them to see how they are out of my gun. Has anyone had luck with these?

If you're just plinking away at targets most major brands are good. You will find certain ones that seem to fire better in your particular weapon. Expierament with differant brands and see which one shot the best for your style. Most of the time us average shooters won't see that much difference. The top competion shooters reload all their own ammo by adjusting powder weights, powder brands and types of powder, bullet styles and brands etc to their individual weapons They take factors as heat, humidity, type of match they are shooting and numerous other factors into consideration.

I have not tried them as of yet just bought a box of 500 LSWC and loaded them for 45 ACP this morning and went to the range shot fairly well will fine tune the load I can not make up my mind on which powder to stick with Winchester or Alliant I have a good supply of Alliant Bullseye and Unique so it will most likely be one of them also like Win 231.
If loading lead works out I will most likely stay with lead for target. Good seeing some one on hear we need to get this thing up and running we need a good local forum
Be safe Pat
